Duties and Responsibilities

- To prepare and implement audit plans;
- To conduct performance and financial audits in the Centre;
- To review and report on conformity with financial rules and regulations and operational procedures laid down in any legislation or any regulations or instructions for control over the expenditure of the Centre;
- To review and report on the systems in place;
- To assist the Management in the implementation of recommendations contained in the reports and follow-up of the external auditor.
- To plans, co-ordinate and direct all Internal Auditor operations of the Center.
- To advise the Center on the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting and financial regulations.
- To keep all offices informed of Center policies, regulations and Governing Council resolutions related to internal auditing matters.
- To undertake special audit investigations and makes sound suggestions to management.
- To examine financial documents of the Center and reports to the Director quarterly on the findings.
- To advise on measures to reduce expenses and increase income.
- To advise the Director from time to time on efficient management and control of Centre’s assets.
- To review and audit the financial activities of the Center.
- To follow up implementation of recommended actions given by audit unit from time to time.
- To performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
